Kyoto's best-known sights sit on opposite edges of the city: Fushimi Inari to the south, Arashiyama to the west, Kinkaku-ji to the north, and Higashiyama in between. City buses along those links are often full, and moving between them by public transport can absorb much of the day, so a private car mainly buys back transfer time and lets the order follow the crowds rather than a timetable.

- Pick two anchor areas rather than five, since Higashiyama and Arashiyama each absorb two to three hours of walking.
- Tell us if you prefer an early Fushimi Inari start or an early Arashiyama start, as the rest of the order follows from that choice.
- During autumn foliage and cherry-blossom weeks, plan on fewer stops and longer transfer times between them.

How many passengers fit?
We recommend one Toyota Alphard for 1 to 6 passengers, one standard Toyota Hiace for 7 to 9, one 14-seat Toyota Hiace for 10 to 13 (13 passengers plus the driver), one Alphard plus one standard Hiace for 14 to 15, and two standard Hiace vehicles for 16 to 18. For 19 or more passengers, we arrange a custom vehicle combination on WhatsApp. Public single-vehicle reference fares do not apply to groups of 10 or more; we confirm the total price on WhatsApp. Luggage details are optional trip context and do not change the automatic recommendation.
